My workMy work is a distillation of my responses to the natural world, the turn of the year, the changing light and weather. Key to this is the landscape where I live and work, surrounded by the woods and fields of north Essex.
I'll be at the Lund gallery from 18 November 2018, and before that at the Oxford Ceramics Fair 2018. I will also be part of Cambridge Artists Open Studios on 14/15 and 21/22 July. My work will also be at Gallery 9 in Bath from November to December.

I live and work in north Essex, my studio is surrounded by farmland.
During Higher Education I studied Fine Art and became interested in ceramics. My education included a diploma by Independent study, where I concentrated on ceramics. I lived for many years in London, where I made ceramics sporadically, in makeshift studios, while I earned my living working in the building trade, as a plasterer and decorator.
Moving back to my roots, I have for the last few years been a dedicated artist, producing a variety of ceramics, exhibiting in galleries including locations in London, Norfolk, Cambridge and Oxfordshire.
In September 2015 I won the Bruckner Foundation Prize at the Musee de Carouge Biennial ceramic competition in Geneva, Switzerland, for a bone china lampshade. I am a member of the Craft Potters Association and the Anglian Potters.
